I’m talking about the favor.. favor on your family. God’s favor on your life and on your family. Joshua 24:15 says,
15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Every family should declare that our family is gonna serve God; and when you do that, you attract the blessing of God on your family. The favor of God will come upon a family when that family chooses to function according to Godly principles. So I plan to show you three keys to attracting God’s favor on your life and on your family.
In order to have a healthy family, people in your family need:
(A) affirmation, people in your family need a
(B) blue print, and people in your family need
(C) celebration.
Affirmation is how I communicate value and worth to my members of my family with words and actions and deeds. Affirmation calls family members to feel good about themselves. Affirmation helps family members to have good self-esteem. Ephesians 4:29,
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 6:4, 4And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Your family needs a blue print. A blue print is a proven plan of action. A blue print has guidelines that are written down on paper. To the degree that you commit yourselves to a proven plan of action, that is the degree that you experience success. God’s plan for my family and your family life is outlined in the Word of God. I have to have more than just a revelation of God’s Word; I have to have a commitment to follow through. I am responsible for obeying God’s Word because He is the Lord.
The Holy Spirit’s primary job within primary believers is to teach us, to guide us, and bring things to our memory, and to show us things to come. We have to have ears to hear, pay attention and follow through with what He said. He speaks through our hearts. What he has already been written in the Word of God. Isaiah 55:8 says,
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Whenever I can bring agreement into the house, I can bring the power of God into the house. Matthew 18:19-20,
Celebration is like affirmation but it takes place in public form. Celebration is those moments in time when through special words, actions, gifts and festivals I choose to honor and applaud other family members in the presence of other people. The 15th chapter of the book of Luke among other things, it reveals how important celebrations are to God.
- In Luke 15:4-7, we see a parable of the sheep. A man had a celebration when he found his sheep.
- Luke 15:7-8 is a parable of the lost coin. A woman had a celebration when she had found her coin.
- Luke 15:10, the angels rejoice over one sinner that repents.
- Luke 15:11-24, the father rejoices when his lost son was found. So
See we came into the Kingdom of God by believing in what God has done for us. Jesus paid the price for all of our sins and to redeem us from the curse of the law and give us citizenship into the Kingdom of God. We left the world, but we still lack the party. Throughout the bible you can see God’s people having parties.
- Abraham had a party when Isaac, his son, was winged.
- God’s people celebrated with feasts: Feasts of the Passover, Feast of the trumpets. Here a feast, there a feast, everywhere a feast.
I like it when people throw a party for me. They gather, and I like the gifts and I like the goodies. God likes celebrations. God has prepared a plan and He has planned a celebration for when we get to heaven. The marriage supper of the land. Everybody is invited. When you have a celebration, you should always acknowledge for who the celebration is for. At Christmas time, get Jesus a gift. When you come to church, celebrate Jesus. When you celebrate the resurrection, Easter, celebrate Jesus.
It honors God when we receive His gift that He has made available for us. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. God is giving us the gift of life so that we can have it more abundantly, here and now and then life after death. In fact, Jesus said, “He that lives and believes in Him shall never die.” This is the great gift of our Lord. God has said, it is his good pleasure to give us the Kingdom.

I recently posted about working with the Holy Spirit to help bring to pass good things that’s supposed to happen in your life. We used as a foundational scripture:
Philippians 2:13 says, 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
My objective of course is to show you how to work with the Holy Spirit, to bring to pass some good things that are supposed to happen in your life. We began talking about renewing your mind. You see God is like a tremendous, big reservoir… and in your thinking life, you are putting a pipe in that reservoir. If you put a very small pipe into the reservoir, then you’ll have a little tinkle of water coming out. And you can’t blame the reservoir, you can’t blame the small pipe. However, when you enlarge your thinking life and you put a big pipe into the reservoir then you can have a rushing of water from the reservoir.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 says that. He works with us and he works within us. He wants to flow through your life! He wants you to be blessed. He wants you to be a means of blessings to other people. So it is of great importance to enlarge your thinking. Jesus Christ is within us and He is always with us.
If we block Him with an un-renewed mind:
Jesus Christ will stay in our holiest of all; our spirit, our inner man
BUT
He will not be able to move out through your mind and through your body and to your circumstances.
So you are the temple of the Holy Ghost, and you are the temple of the living God.
1 Corinthians 3:16 says, that you are the temple of the living God. Don’t try to seek the Holy Spirit in other places. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you. 1 Corinthians 6:19 verse says, that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you. He is in your holy place, and He wants to flow through your heart, your spirit, your inner man, the Holy of Holies. Through your mind (your holy place), through your physical body (the courtyard), and minister to the needs of people.
So you’re gonna read your Bible, read the Word of God, listen to positive messages of Jesus Christ, fill your mind with the promises of God and do whatever it takes to saturate your thinking with the Word of God. God is gonna freely flow through you to meet the needs and challenges of the world. Like I said in Part one, that 2nd thing that is involved is you learning to use the visions and dreams and the passion and desires that God put in your heart.

Seeing comes ahead of possession; so do whatever you have to do to incubate your dreams and the visions that God gives to you. When you have a dream or a vision or a passion or desire that God puts in your heart, visions and dreams are giving birth to your faith. You don’t have faith first and then have your visions and dreams. When you have visions and dreams then the visions and dreams generate faith.
You see God showed Abraham what a multitude looks like and then after that the scripture says that Abraham believed God. Genesis 15:5-6 says,
So Abraham believed and according to his (Abraham’s) faith God’s Holy Spirit worked in Abraham’s life and rejuvenated Abraham and his wife. One year later they had a beautiful son, Isaac. When Abraham came out of Egypt, of course God wanted to give him the land of Canon, but before Abraham could possess the land of Canon God asked Abraham to lift up his eyes and to look North, South, East, and West. Then the Lord said, the land which you see to thee will I give.
You see, seeing comes before possession, so do whatever you need to do; whatever you have to do to incubate your visions and your dreams.
Genesis 13:14-15 verse says,
So you see, seeing comes ahead of possession. Do whatever you have to do to incubate the dreams and the visions that God gives to you.
Romans 4:17 verse says, 17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Genesis 1:3 says, 3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Spiritual authority is released when we talk about what I see on the inside of me. We talk about what we see on the inside of us. When God said let there be light, light was on the inside of Him and He spoke in the face of darkness. So, I’ve been talking about how to work with the Holy Spirit to bring to pass those good things that’s supposed to happen in your life.
Those three ways to do that is renewing your mind, using your visions and dreams, and speaking the language of the Holy Spirit . You may say, “I don’t have much faith.” but Jesus said, “And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this Sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”
Use the faith that you have and you will see the hand of God move. And you will get miracles in your life!

Hello everyone. It’s so good to be able to bring forth the things that are in my spirit to your eyes. It blesses me.
Today I want to talk about working with the Holy Spirit to help bring to pass good things that’s supposed to happen in your life.
Philippians 2:13 says, 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. So my objective is to show you how to work with the Holy Spirit to help bring to pass those good things that are supposed to happen in your life. I believe that every Christian should be a victorious, overcoming, healthy, wealthy, and wise child of God. -But- if you want to win, you will have to learn to work with the Holy Spirit.
What I mean is:
- Renew your mind. Then,
- Use your vision and dreams and the passion that God gives to you.Thereafter,
- Speak the language of the Holy Spirit.
Many people think that God is not so concerned about the details of our own personal lives and that God is so far away. But when you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and your savior and you are born into the Kingdom of God, then right away we find God in us. Right away, we become the temple of the Holy Spirit. God starts to work in us.
Philippians 2:13 remember, 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Ephesians 3:20 says,
Train yourself to be God inside minded; God wants to flow out of you. Cooperate in the proper way and then you’ll see that God is going to manifest his glory in you. As far as you are concerned, God is going to go through you. He is going to go through your inner man, your spirit being; the bible calls your spirit “the hidden man” of the heart; the inner man.
He’s going to go through your thinking life and through your visions and dreams that God put in your heart and through your faith confession. So you are very important to God. When you study Christian history, you can see that God does not use religious organizations to bring a world shaking revival.
God uses a person. You are an individual person through whom the love of God will work. God loves to work through people like you, so, prepare your life to be used by God. The way you want to do that is by renewing your mind. Using your dreams and visions that the Lord gives to you. Speaking the language of the Holy Spirit.
When you’re renewing your mind, you participate in working with the Holy Spirit to bring to pass those good things that’s supposed to happen in your life. Now when we’re talking about renewing our mind, when we receive Jesus Christ in our heart as our savior, instantly we are born again. But after that, the bible tells us in Romans 12:2 to renew our minds.

That scripture says,
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
So you renew your mind. We must continue to renew our minds because our minds were clogged up with the wrong thinking from when we were living according to the course of this world. Ephesians 2:2 says,
2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
And with that kind of negative thinking God’s Spirit cannot flow through you properly. If you study the Lord’s temple, we can see that your spirit is analogous to The Holy of Holies where God dwelt. Your mind is analogous to the Holy Spirit. Your body is analogous to the court yard.
So the Holy Spirit who is dwelling in you, in your spirit, wants to flow through your holy place, your mind, through the court yard, your physical body. If we don’t have our mind’s renewed, the Holy Spirit will be trapped, shielded in our holy of holies in your spirit. So it is very important to think according to God’s principles. You do that by studying the bible from Genesis to Revelations and you train your mind to think according to God’s thoughts.
It is possible to be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and still not have your mind renewed. Without having a renewed mind, a person can easily be influenced by circumstances and accept negative circumstances as reality. So begin to renew your mind; your thinking life. And deny the negative circumstances and think like God thinks.
With positive thoughts, then God’s power will begin to flow through your prayer life. Joshua 1:8 says,
8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Also, Psalms 1:1 says,
So, renewing of the mind is very important. Later, I’ll talk about the other aspect of working with the Holy Spirit, using those visions and dreams.

This is the second in a series talking about family matters and I mentioned family matters because every member of the family of God ought to be teachers. We’ve looked at Mark the 6th chapter and we saw something very interesting about Jesus’s ministry. We’ll start at the 4th verse,
We also mentioned that Jesus really did want to do the mighty works there in his own home town. But what did he do when he recognized they were in unbelief? He went around about their villages teaching them and then we noticed that just as Jesus Christ was sent into the world, we are sent into the world. Jesus taught as the remedy for unbelief. The remedy for unbelief is teaching and the main purpose behind teaching is to form beliefs.
Jesus taught in order to form beliefs within people that the people would need so that Jesus could do what he wanted to do; help them and heal them. And just as Jesus taught, we ought to be teachers. Everybody in the family of God are not called to stand in the office of a teacher but every one of us should be teachers. You should grow to a place where you simply pass along to one another what you have
in hopes of causing areas in people’s lives that are governed by their flesh, to begin to be governed by the Word of God. That’s when victory and God’s best happen in people’s lives. So, when we come upon, or encounter those brethren who may be overtaken with a fault, the scripture says restore such a one in the spirit of meekness. The way you do it is you just simply step into their lives. Become involved in their lives on a regular basis and become an influencer in their lives and restore them.
The scripture says in the book of Hebrews the 5th chapter and 12th verse,
12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Even though we may not all be standing in the office of a teacher, we all can teach – All of us. All that a teacher does is pass along what he knows to someone else. And you can take a new convert into your kitchen or into your favorite restaurant or onto a park and teach them how to walk in love or how to forgive. Teach them how to pray. Teach them how to live by faith. There is something that you and other believers can teach others that it should not take a pastor to get across to them.
Everyone in the family of God has a responsibility to teach and that is a family matter. Yes, when we embrace that principle, when we embrace that responsibility, our own life takes on another level of fulfillment. That’s how you walk in love and you know love is the fulfillment of the law. I noticed that Jesus didn’t just spend his life running around trying to get his blessing. Jesus lived a deliberate life because he did not come to be served, but he came to serve. And just as Jesus was sent into the world, you and I are sent into the world.
We lay down our life and we find the life that God has for us. God has already revealed in the scripture that he has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We embrace that reality and we walk on out there in love having our confidence in the Word of God that says that God has already blessed us and that we are sons of God and we are the righteousness of God. God has given us the gift of righteousness and now we, like Jesus, can represent. Now the scripture says in that day you shall know. Jesus said (speaking of this day)
That’s how we can walk in the manifestation of Jesus Christ in us, by walking in this love, baring one another’s burdens. So, anyone who fulfills the law of God walks in all the blessed state that God intended for us. You see, in Galatians 6:1,
1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, (spiritual means letting the word of God govern your life in that particular area) restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Now this 2nd verse,
2Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
That’s how you fulfill the law of God; Live to be a blessing to others and you should be a teacher, teaching passing along to one another, stepping into one another’s lives, and passing along that what you have heard. Jesus said, he that hath my commandments and keepeth them he it is that loves me and he that loves me shall be loved by my father and I will love him and I will manifest myself unto him.

I’m talking about family matters. I say family matters because every person in the family of God has a responsibility to be a teacher. You ought to be a teacher. Even though everyone is not called with a special anointing of God to stand in the office of a teacher to the body of Christ, everybody ought to be a teacher. I’m going to express to you now: The whole purpose behind teaching is to form beliefs. That’s why teaching is so important. It forms – It helps people to have beliefs that are necessary for the person to receive from the Lord what the Lord wants to get to them.
In Mark 6:1, starting at the first verse, the bible says,
You see why was Jesus not able to help them as he wanted to help them? It was because of their unbelief. So what did he do when he recognized that they were in unbelief? He went around about their villages teaching. Now do you see, that the remedy for unbelief is teaching. But why did he go around about the villages teaching? To form the beliefs within the people that they would need in order for him to be able to heal them. Did they not lack certain beliefs that hindered him from healing them?

nd he marveled because of their unbelief. So, there was some unbelief in them that kept him from getting to them what he wanted them to have. So, did Jesus just leave them in that state? No. Jesus went around about the villages teaching to form the beliefs that they would need in order for them to be healed. In order for Jesus to help them. So do you see that the primary purpose for teaching is to form beliefs in people. So you see, every one of us in the family of God should be teachers. So, when you read the book of John you’ll find out that John revealed why he wrote the book.

And he said so that they might believe that Jesus is the Christ and that believing you might have life through his name. So see, John had specific beliefs that he’s trying to form within us. So after we read his book, he’s given us enough information to form within us beliefs that Jesus is the Christ and believing that we might have life through His name. So, we should be living deliberate lives because when Jesus was upon the Earth he lived a deliberate life.
He said, In John 20:21, that scripture says,
21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
And that was repeated in John 17:18
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
So Jesus lived a deliberate life and he knew. He said, that the son of man came not to be minister to, but to minister and give his life to ransom for many. And we are sent in the world as Jesus is sent to the world – to live deliberate lives, to be influencers. Jesus is an influencer and we are sent into the world to be an influencer. You are an influencer, speaking to people, looking for people to share your faith with. Pass along what you have to others.
Galatians 6:1 says, Brethren if a man be overtaken within a fault, you which are spiritual restores such in one in the spirit of meekness considering yourself least you be tempted.
What that simply means is, when you encounter or see an individual who’s overtaken in one of these faults that’s mentioned in the bible, restore such a one. You just step into their lives, become involved in their lives on a regular basis. Become an influencer in their lives and restore them. Pass along to one another what you have learned so that that particular area of the brother’s life or the sister’s life can began to be governed by the Word of God and victory will happen in that area of that person’s life.
That’s how you fulfill the law of God. That’s how you live in the blessed state – by walking in love to the degree that you step in their lives. Become involved in their lives on a regular basis. Be an influencer in their lives and restore them. The scripture says that that’s how you fulfill the whole law. That’s Galatians the 6th chapter. And that’s how you bare one another’s burdens. Remove those burdens. Help remove burdens out of people’s lives and you have fulfilled the law of God. But you teach them, pass along what you have received to others.

Happy Friday everyone. Today I want to talk to you about secrets, keys, laws, principles that dominate life on this earth. The scripture says in Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death. We can understand the role of laws in life. The Kingdom of God is what we were born into when we received the Lordship of Jesus in our lives.
The Kingdom of God is not a religion. It is a country. It’s ruled by a king, it has citizens and like all countries the Kingdom of God is built on laws. If you would look at a 747 Boeing Jet, it weighs about 600,000 pounds and with that jet sitting on the ground… you just don’t move it. You don’t lift it. But how do they fly that jet. How do they get a 600,000 pound aircraft to rise from the ground. How does it fly like a feather?
Even we can look at our own situations in life and ask “How am I going to ever survive this? How am I going to get out of this? How am I going to get through this?” that 600,000 pound plane leaves the ground because the Law of Gravity is cancelled by the Law of Lift. You can defy laws by putting an other law into place. When a pilot pushes the throttle on that plane and the speed of the plane on that runway reaches 160 miles per hour, the speed creates a new law. They use this new law.
An aircraft must leave the ground. If it stays on the ground, it will disintegrate. It will destroy itself. Once it hits 160 miles per hour it cannot stay on the ground. Gravity surrenders to the Law of Lift. Once you are operating in the Law of Lift and you keep the speed, that plane will fly like a feather. When that speed drops below 160 mph, the plane turns like a rock and falls to the ground.
Whatever got you there will keep you there. Look in Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The definition of the word “keys” is laws. Principles! Jesus was saying that I am going to give you keys, I’m going to give you laws of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. See Heaven will cooperate with you but keys are laws that unlock the influence of heaven. These are principles. God will give you laws that will interfere with the earth.
So the key to life is learning these laws of God. You can defy limitations. You can go beyond the limitations that are presented to you in life. Learn the laws of life, activate them and they will work for you. You don’t have to struggle. The laws work for You. You see when you hit 160 mph in that aircraft that pilot loses control and the law takes over. The pilot doesn’t fly the plane, he guides it. Laws make success automatic.
I’m going to give you an example. Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44)But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45)[So] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46)For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47)And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48)Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. That means “mature”. You be mature because you know, these are laws.
God has given us a law that will override the limitations of this world. The very ones that try to hold you down will push you up. Gravity surrenders to the law of Lift, you see. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect!

In order to pray, our love and attention for Christ should be hot! If your love and attention for Christ has waned, REKINDLE THE FIRE!! Spend time with God, reading and studying your bible and praying. Attend church regularly and find yourself in the company of others who are doing the same thing. REKINDLE THE FIRE! GOD needs us to be RED HOT IN THIS season. GET OFF THE WALL AND STAND IN VICTORY!!!
The devil is on the loose!! And we loosed him!! One thing we must learn as the Body of Christ is that when we do nothing, we are doing something. When we refuse to make a choice, we are choosing. When we are complacent, we are actually actively loosing the devil’s cohorts to have their way. Even though we are standing in victory, we must stand. You can’t sleep in victory!! You must STAND IN VICTORY!
In the natural, when you are standing in victory, your muscles are flexed. You are alert and attentive and your senses are very aware of your surroundings. Even moreso in the spirit we should be alert, attentive, aware and releasing words and prayers into the atmosphere that avail much promise of power and purpose!!
II Chronicles 7:14 states that if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. WE NEED GOD’S POWER ON THE SCENE!! Therefore we humble ourselves, remembering to PRAY for the cities involved in the murders and killings, from the mayors all the way down to the citizens, both young and old. We repent and seek God to know “what” and “if” he wants US to do, that will benefit the situation in any way. God said he would hear, forgive their sin, and heal our land. Let us FERVENTLY stand in the GAP for our neighborhoods, our city, our state, and our nation. Let us INTERCEDE FOR ALL POLICEMEN EVERYWHERE, PRAYING FOR THEIR SAFETY. Let us pray in fervency for the lost, those out of church, and those who are not committed to Christ.

Did you know that corn is a fruit, a vegetable and a grain??? Who knew?!
You know, I had this chuck roast that I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into. I planned to cook it for the family and eat it with rice and gravy as our “last hurrah” before beginning Twenty -one. After putting off cooking it for a few days, alas, we only ate it two days and more than half of it was left.
About the time that I was contemplating what to do with the food, I was pulling into the driveway. My neighbor walks over and offers me some sweet potatoes he had baked, which I thankfully accepted. Then I thought, instead of freezing it, I will give the food to my neighbor. I was excited to share the savory roast, gravy and rice with someone. Before the day was over, my neighbor had blessed me with several bags of beans and rice, just in time for 21. Isn’t God Good?!?!
Our family has been eating greens, green beans, salad, potato salad, great northern beans, sweet potatoes, bananas, apples and honeydew melon. For the first time, I tried butternut squash and it was delicious.
As far as seasoning goes, I had to get a little help on that. I go to fat free vegan.com and glean from spices they list for various vegetables. The great northern beans (navy beans) I cooked were the best ever!
You know, I actually forgot how sweet fruit taste…it’s deliciously sweet and juicy. Vegetables are so much tastier without the competing influences of bread and beverages. And that starch hangover is gone too!!!
