Life is not easy to navigate in general and it’s also not always easy to know how to apply God’s Word in such a complicated world full of complex relationships and circumstances. But there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors.

There is wisdom in those who have been Christians for many years and have been through all kinds of scenarios that challenge their faith and yet they keep on persevering by God’s grace.

There are many Biblical principles that take wisdom to know how to apply in our day and age. Some are quite clear, like the commandment, “don’t commit adultery.” But others are not as clear, such as honor one another (Romans 2:10), restore those who have fallen into sin in a spirit of gentleness (Galatians 6:1), show hospitality to strangers (Romans 12:13; Hebrews 13:2; I Peter 4:9), and don’t be greedy (I Corinthians 5:10; Ephesians 4:19).
